Move to nearest connection (Q)

This command moves the digitized point to the nearest connection point, cable tray end point, or Hull construction part's hole node. It checks only points that belong to objects close enough to the digitized point: the hit box must intersect with the minimum bounding box of the object. The hit box is a cube whose edges are parallel to the X, Y, Z axes, with its center at the digitized point, and whose side length is four times the current hit distance. The default hit distance is 400 mm.

This command does not retrieve information from the connection point or join objects when used in routing. The picture below shows the difference between using Move to nearest connection (Q), Connect (P), and Join (J): while P and J actually connect the new pipe to an existing one (with or without a seam), Q only snaps to the connection point.
