Moving, rotating, and scaling a model
You can move, rotate, and scale a model to place it in the required position.
You can use this for example when you need to load multiple model files that have been modeled using different coordinate systems. After you have aligned the partial models with each other, you can save the result as a new, combined model.
Note: Move, rotate, or scale cannot be used if the model defines local coordinate systems.
- To move, rotate, or scale a model, right-click the model name in the model tree and select Move/Rotate/Scale Model from the context menu.
A dialog opens for defining the coordinate transformation. The transformation is relative to the current position.
To undo the transformation, set the values back to 0.
