Nominal size sets

In the Project Environment dialog, in [project] > Configuration > Common, the Nominal size sets configuration object defines which Nominal Sizes are available when the user is adding a free radius bend, a stub-in branch, or some specific types of insulation into a piping specification.

In the editor, one tag record represents one nominal size set. You must use the following tags to define a tag record:

  • NSS – The name of the nominal size set.

  • NSC – A one-character format code, such as "a" or "b", that defines how to convert and display the nominal size values. See One-character format codes.

  • NSZ – A list of valid nominal size values separated by the colon character ":". If the first value is smaller than  -0.1, adding a part size to a specification prompts the user to define the nominal size by typing.
