Structural units

In CADMATIC, "structural unit" means template-driven constructions such as ladders, staircases, platforms, railings, and walkways. In the 3D model, the model objects are created using structural unit templates that project administrators can manage in the Project Environment dialog.

There are a number of default templates, and the collection can be expanded by implementing custom templates with script programming. At the beginning of a new project, before the design work starts, project administrators should always review the existing templates and create new ones if needed.
