Plate
A plate is defined by:

Origin which is located at the center of the plate.

Direction for thickness. In the picture below, the direction is according to the positive z-axis.

Set value for the thickness. Use the context menu (MRB) to select the method for definition.

You can modify the thickness by stretching the primitive from its origin.
