Toroid
A toroid is defined by centerline and a circle which is swept along the centerline. The centerline is defined by start (first) point, opening angle and radius of the centerline (curvature).
-
First point of the arc is located at the center of the first end and it can be defined using an auxiliary cylinder to define the radius of circle and the direction for tangent at first point.
-
Second point (Stretch) is defined by the opening angle and curvature radius.
-
If no auxiliary cylinder is used to define the radius and direction, use commands Rotate, Axis Rotate and Scale Shape to finish the toroid.
Note: Opening Angle must have a positive value. To change the direction, use command Axis Rotate from context menu.
