Pipe Spiral
This shape creates a spiral pipe. With this shape you can model e.g. railings of spiral staircases. The origin of the spiral is at the center point of the first end of the pipe. The parameters are:
-
PipeDiameter, the diameter of the pipe.
-
SpiralDiameter, the diameter of the spiral measured between center lines of pipes.
-
OpeningAngle, the opening angle of the spiral. If there are e.g. two full rounds, then this angle is 720 (if counter clockwise) or
-
TotalRise, z-distance between end points of the spiral pipe measured from the center point of the first end to the center point of the second end. This parameter is negative if spiral is descending.
End planes of the spiral are perpendicular to the direction of spiral, which means that pipe cuts are straight at both ends.
