P&ID and 3D model integration

CADMATIC P&ID can be integrated with CADMATIC Plant/Outfitting to automate various functions and streamline the 3D design phase.

Through integration:

• Systems and Lines are common across the whole project—they can be set up in P&ID or Plant Modeller.

• Work requests allow P&ID, Plant Modeller, and Hull users to communicate design changes more easily.

• Plant Modeller users can insert 3D model objects for components such as armatures and equipment, utilizing data stored in the P&ID database, such as component type, position ID, and nominal size, ensuring that the object is automatically of the correct type and requires less manual data entry.
