View tab
The View tab of CADMATIC Viewer contains the following tools.
Views
- Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Front, Back – These commands rotate the drawing to the specified direction.
- Original – Sets the drawing to its default orientation.
- Free orbit – Enables free orbiting. Hold down the left mouse button and drag to rotate the drawing in any direction.
- Tile view – Allows showing the same drawing in two or three panes, for example to view it from front and back at the same time.
In addition, you can rotate the view by holding down X and scrolling the mouse wheel.
Miscellaneous

Display lineweight – If selected, lines are drawn according to their lineweight value. Otherwise, all lines are drawn in default weight.

Axis icon – If selected, the axis icon is displayed in the drawing.

Axis icon at origin – If selected, the axis icon is located in the origin point of the drawing. Otherwise, it is located near the lower-left corner of the drawing area.

System variables – Opens the System Variables dialog. This lists some of the system variables that CADMATIC Viewer supports, but not all of them—for a complete list, refer to AutoCAD® documentation provided by Autodesk®.

Display attributes – Specifies how to display attributes.
- Off – Do not display attributes.
- Normal – Display visible attributes, do not display invisible attributes.
- On – Display all attributes.

Render mode – The default vectorization engine (GDI) displays only one mode, "2D optimized". If using OpenGL or DirectX, the drop-down menu allows selecting which rendering mode to use.

Invisible objects – If the drawing contains invisible objects, the Invisible Objects dialog opens, listing the invisible objects. Select an object from the list to manage its visibility.
Show/hide image
- Change Visibility toggles the visibility of the selected object.
- Show All sets all objects to be visible.
Annotation Scale
- Scales – Select the scale at which to view texts that have the "Annotative" attribute set to "Yes" and the "Annotation scale" attribute set to support alternative scales.
