Three points

V

Locks the cursor to a plane the user defines by defining three points.

2D line extended

Shift+F

Locks the cursor to a plane that is generated from a 2D line.

Navigate > Fix X, Y or Z

Fix X

X

Fixes the X coordinate to a user-defined value.

Fix Y

Y

Fixes the Y coordinate to a user-defined value.

Fix Z

Z

Fixes the Z coordinate to a user-defined value.

Release X

Shift+X

Releases the fixed X coordinate.

Release Y

Shift+Y

Releases the fixed Y coordinate.

Release Z

Shift+Z

Shift+A

Releases the cursor so that it can move in any direction.

Set coordinates

C

Locks the cursor to user-defined coordinates.

Set distance

D

Locks the cursor to a user-defined distance from the previously active point.

Set radius & angle

S

Locks the cursor to a spherical coordinate that the user defines by defining a radius and two angles.

Position from reference grid

Ctrl+R

Locks the cursor to a user-defined distance from the nearest reference plane.

Move to nearest… Connection

Q

Locks the cursor to the nearest connection point of an air duct, cable tray, or pipe, beam point, or Hull construction part's hole node.

Move to nearest… Pipe geometry point

W

Locks the cursor to the nearest pipe geometry point or object's center point.

Move to nearest… Vertex

E

Locks the cursor to the nearest vertex or the end point of a cylindrical primitive.

Move to nearest… Inside vertex

Alt+E

Locks the cursor to the nearest inside vertex of a straight air duct part or some other part that has been modeled as a duct shape.

Move to nearest… 2D vertex

Shift+W

Locks the cursor to the nearest 2D vertex of a 2D line or 2D arc.

Move to nearest… Surface

F

Locks the cursor to the nearest surface or planar face.

Back to original location

Shift+R

Moves the cursor back to the previously active point.

Go to point set average

G

Locks the cursor to an average point calculated from a set of user-defined points.

Go to surface of pipe

Alt+P

Locks the cursor to a surface point that the user selects from a pipe. To use this command, the pipe centerline must be within 100 mm of the digitized point. (EloTools)

Go to hull shape

Locks the cursor to a position defined by the hull shape.
