Editing holes
Every hole has four status flags that are stored in the "hole function". The "hole function" of a hole is a four digit code with the following meaning:
Hole function |
1st digit |
2nd digit |
3rd digit |
4th digit |
|
Created By |
Approved |
Piping Lock |
|
Value and meaning |
1 = Plant Modeller |
1 = Not approved |
1 = Not locked by CADMATIC Hull |
1 = Locked by Plant Modeller |
|
0 = CADMATIC Hull |
0 = Approved |
0 = Locked by CADMATIC Hull |
0 = Not locked by Plant Modeller |
The status can be seen by querying the status of the hole object.
In CADMATIC Hull you can enable the "Piping or Approved lock" setting. By default these are disabled. These settings can be found in the System Management application via Construction > Holes. When you enable these locks it means that you are not allowed to edit the hole in CADMATIC Outfitting if the hole is locked by CADMATIC Hull or approved (by CADMATIC Hull).
