PipeStress export
You can export piping information to a PipeStress file (*.pst; ASCII format) that can then be imported to PipeStress software for stress analysis.
Do the following:

On the Model tab, in the Content group, select Export > PipeStress. The Generate Input Files for PipeStress dialog opens.

Define the export settings:

Ident Record – Enter input for the IDEN card.

Title Record – Enter input for the TITL card.

Perform the following, as many times as needed, to define the set of objects to be exported:

Click Add Objects. The Add Objects dialog opens.

Use one of the following methods to add objects to the export set:

Click Pipeline, select a pipeline from the object browser, and click OK to accept the selection.

Click Isometric, select an isometric from the list, and click OK to accept the selection.

Click Pick, select the objects to be exported, and press Enter to accept the selection.

The objects you selected are shown in a separate wireframe view. You can change the visualization of the view:

Click Hlines to remove hidden lines.

Click Shade to show the objects as shaded.

Click Set View Direction to change the Rotation and Slope settings of the view.

If the set you defined contains objects that should not be exported, you can remove objects from the set:

Click Remove Objects. The Remove Objects dialog opens.

Use one of the following methods to remove objects from the export set:

Click Pick, select the objects to be removed, and press Enter to accept the removal.

Click All to remove all objects from the set. (Then you have to define a new set.)

When you have defined what to export, click Generate File. The Output File dialog opens.

Specify the file name and saving location, and click Save.

Click Close.
