Minimizing the ribbon

You can minimize the ribbon bar to have more space for the main area of the application window. When the ribbon is minimized, you can click the text label of a tab to access its command buttons.

Do any of the following to minimize or maximize the ribbon:

• Select Minimize the Ribbon from the drop-down menu of Quick Access Toolbar.

• Right-click a command button in the ribbon and select Minimize the Ribbon from the context menu.

• Click the arrow button on the left side of the help icon.

• Double-click the text label of a tab.

• Press Ctrl+F1.
