Draw polygons

Home tab > Draw group >  (Rectangle) menu > Polygon, POLYGON

With this function, you can draw polygons.

Do the following:

1. Select whether you want to define the length of the radius from the centerpoint to the edge or to the vertex:

   • Enter i to define the radius from the centerpoint to the vertex.

   • Enter o to define the radius from the centerpoint to the edge.

2. Enter the number of edges.

3. Indicate the center point.

4. Indicate the radius or enter the radius on the command line.

   If you enter the radius on the command line, the program draws a vertex or an edge directly to the right of the center point according to the method of defining the radius that you selected in step 1.

The program draws the polygon as a polyline. If you want to remove one edge of the polygon, you have to either explode or break the object. See Explode objects and Break objects.
