Break objects

Home tab > Modify group > Break/join menu > Break, BREAK

Break a line, a polyline, a circle, an arc, an ellipse, or an elliptic arc by removing a section.

Do the following:

Select the object that you want break.
Indicate the first break point.
Indicate the second break point.

If you want to remove an end of a line, select a point outside of the end point of the line.
If you selected an ellipse, a circle, or a closed polyline, do one of the following:
- Remove one section by clicking the section.
- Break the object without removing either section by pressing Enter.

The program breaks the object and removes the section.
