Step 1. Opening an existing drawing label to edit

Insert a drawing label into a blank drawing and modify it. If you are using a application, insert a drawing label installed by that application. This example uses a "basic" drawing label that is included in program.

Select Annotate tab > Markup group > Drawing sheet menu > Label: Construction and insert the drawing label symbol in drawing.

Select Home tab > Symbol group > Edit menu > Open symbol and click on drawing label you just inserted in the drawing.

Program opens the drawing label symbol definition as a another document. Symbol files and drawing files are identical. Objects in this symbol can be modified just as objects in a normal drawing.
