Multiply selected objects to an array along the circumference of a circle.
Array objects in a full circle
Multiply objects in a full circle with equal distances apart from one another.
Do the following:
-
Select Edit > Array > Circular array (circle).
-
Select the object that you want to array. You can select several objects.
-
Confirm the selection by pressing Enter.
-
Indicate the basepoint for the array that represents the centerpoint of the circle.
-
Define the number of copies:
-
If you want to have a certain number of copies, enter the number of copies on the command line. Note that the program does not count the original objects as a copy, so if you want a total of six objects in the array, enter 5 as the number of copies.
-
If you want to place the copies a certain distance apart from each other, do the following:
-
Enter the keyword Distance on the command line.
-
Enter the distance between the objects that you want.
-
Indicate the radius for the circle whose circumference the program uses to calculate the number of the copies.
-
-
-
Select whether the program rotates the objects by entering the keyword Yes or No on the command line.
The program copies the objects and draws them in a circle.
Array objects in a defined angle
Multiply objects to fit inside a certain angle.
Do the following:
-
Select Edit > Array > Circular array (angle).
-
Select the object that you want to array. You can select several objects.
-
Confirm the selection by pressing Enter.

-
Enter the array angle.
If you enter a positive value, the program draws the copies counter-clockwise from the original object.
If you enter a negative value, the program draws the copies clockwise from the original object.
The program copies the objects and fits them inside the angle that you entered.
