Draw a rectangular 3D donut

3D tab > 3D draw group > Donut menu > Rectangular donut, 3DRECDONUT

Draw a rectangular 3D donut, or a rectangular torus. A 3D donut is a structure that consists of 3D faces. If you draw the donut as individual 3D faces, the program uses the active color. If you draw the donut as a symbol, the program uses the SYMBOL color.

Do the following:

  1. In the Rectangular donut dialog, enter the height of the donut.

  2. Select whether you want to indicate the inner and outer radii on the drawing or enter the width of the donut on the dialog.

  3. Select the vertical definition point.

  4. Select the drawing accuracy. Note that high accuracy results in a larger drawing file.

  5. Select the object type. If you want to edit the individual points on the donut's surface, select Polymesh.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Indicate the inner radius of the donut the same way you would indicate a circle. See Draw circles and ellipses.

  8. Depending on your selection in step 2, indicate the outer radius of the donut.
