In this exercise, you will work with the Layout toolset of CADMATIC Electrical. Via designing the electrics for an industrial building, you will learn the basics of adding electrical components to a building starting from preparing the floor plan drawing to printing the complete drawing. You will also learn about reference drawings, different symbol and wiring functions, and quantity calculations.

Note: This exercise is based on CADMATIC Electrical version 2025H1. In other versions, some of the functions may work differently.
