Conversion files
Use of conversion files is associated with opening and saving of DWG/DXF drawings.
Conversion files THIN9 or COLORS or conversion files edited by the user are often used in the electrical drawings.
CADMATIC is delivered with four conversion files:
-
CADMATIC – The default conversion file, which is not recommended for use in Layout.
-
COLORS – This can be used when you want to print the architectural drawing lines as they have been defined (color, thickness).
-
THIN1 – This can be used when you want to convert all architectural drawing elements to color 1. Elements drawn with color 1 are printed thin by default. Conversion file THIN9 is often used because the architectural drawing is better distinguished from the electrical drawing frame in the screen.
-
THIN9 – Conversion file used in most electrical installation drawings.
This file is used when elements in the architectural drawing should be printed thin. Then the architectural drawing is better distinguished from the electrical drawing frame in the screen.
