The visualization window is a separate floating window that is not confined to the drawing area in the program.
You can place the visualization window anywhere on you screens, such as on a second monitor.
The visualization window is primarily meant for inspecting 3D objects. You can only use limited functions compared to the main window. Select the functions on the round menu on the top right corner of the window.
The layers in the visualization window are not tied to the layers on the main window. This means that you can turn off layers on the visualization window and still see them on the main window.
When you save the drawing, the program saves the visualization window view to the file as well.
Menu in the upper right corner of visualization window contains following functions:
Shade on/off – Turn shading on/off. Up arrow above the button opens a list of shading modes. |
Switch to main view – Switch visualization window and main window views. |
Open saved design views – Open design views window. |
Visualization window layers – Open a layer dialog where layers can be turned on/off and locked/unlocked. This does not affect layers in the main window. |
View clipping – Open view clipping options to the menu. |
View direction – Open a list of view directions. |
Close visualization window – Close visualization window. |
Zoom tools – Open a list of zoom tools to the menu. |
