Open and save the floor plan

Let's open the floor plan from the sample project directory, and save it to a different folder. To this folder we will collect all drawings created during this exercise.

Do the following:

1. Select File > Open. The Open file dialog opens.

2. Navigate to [CADMATIC directory]\Samples\Electrical\Electrical Example Project\REF.

3. Select the A-0-FP-01-101_Production.dwg file.

4. Click Open.

The program opens the drawing on a new document tab.
