Extend wires

With the Extend wires function, you can extend wiring to another sheet or in another open drawing, or select an existing wire or reference for an unpaired reference.

Do the following:

1. Right-click an unpaired reference and select Extend wire.

   The Wiring reference dialog opens.

2. Select the sheet where you want to continue wiring. Alternatively, continue in another open drawing by selecting In another file and then the desired drawing from the drop-down menu.

3. Enter a free-form description to specify where the wiring comes from and where it is going to.
4. If you want to continue drawing on the target sheet, select Stay on target sheet. Otherwise you will return to the starting sheet after the wiring is ready.
5. Click OK. You are taken to the sheet or drawing you defined.
6. Draw wiring, or select an existing wire or reference.
