Draw hatch areas

Home tab > Draw group > (Hatch), HATCHES

You can draw a hatch to a selected area with a selected pattern. When you start the hatch function, the Hatch window opens to the left side of the screen.

Do the following:

  1. Select the area defining method:

    • Define hatch area by points – Indicate the corner points of the hatch area. Indicate at least three points. The maximum number of points is unlimitless.

    • Define hatch area by selecting objects – Select an object whose area you want to hatch. You can select multiple objects.

    • Define hatch area by closed area search – Indicate a point in the area that you want to hatch. The program searches for the nearest closed area to the point ant draws the hatch to the area.

  2. Select the hatch pattern:

    1. Select the scale. The scale of the pattern is often the same as the scale of the drawing.

    2. Select the angle or indicate it on the drawing by clicking the button.
