Printing
You can print drawings when they are open in the drawing area, or in a queue. Both methods have distinct advantages. If a drawing is open in the drawing area, you can print a defined area, instead of the entire drawing. On the other hand, you can print multiple drawings quickly by printing them in a queue.
All printers need a Windows device driver to print documents. Program uses Windows printers to print drawings so the printer must be installed in Windows first. Installing a printer in Windows requires a device driver that is usually delivered with the printer. If not, the driver can usually be downloaded from the web site of the printer manufacturer. After the driver has been installed in Windows, the printer can be added in program.
A printer that is defined as the default printer in Windows is automatically added in program when starting the first time.
It is useful to define default print settings for a printer. Print settings define the default settings such as scale, and paper. In addition, the print style defines line weights, colors and so on.
