Set transparency on/off
Tools tab > View group > Transparency |
You can use transparent shading in the drawing where the transparency is either the same for all objects on the drawing or defined for each object. If you set the transparency at 0%, the object is completely opaque and you cannot see through it at all. If you set the transparency at 100%, the object is completely see-through.
The program displays the tranpsarency of the objects when you have selected either the Transparent or the Transparent grayscale shading mode. For more information, see Set shade on/off.
Usually, the program uses one transparency value for all objects. The default transparency value is 50%. You can change the transparency value by changing the value of the FORCEDTRANSPARENCY system variable between 0–100.
You can also set the transparency value for each object separately. You can set the value to either an integer between 0 and 100 or to LAYER or SYMBOL, where the object gets its transparency from its layer or symbol.
