Locations

Location represents the physical location of a device in a project, for example as part of a distribution board.

Location consists of object ID (=) or Electrical position (+), or both.

A device separated by a device identifier (-) usually appears in a location. The device ID is actually not a part of the Location, even though it can indicate that a device is located inside another device.

The Device identifier can contain several Device IDs, i.e. subdevices, and pins. The device identifier appears in the Hierarchy linkage and Circuit ID systems, too.

The Locations tab shows the project's locations. To see the functions, right-click on the desired cell or the selected row.
