Default Lug

Set whether the Default Lug option is preselected or not in the Construction > Insert > Cutouts/Lugs and Construction > Modify > Cutouts/ Lugs functions in the 3D-Contek application.

When set to Enabled, the Default Lug option is preselected when starting either of the two functions.

The default setting is Disabled.

Thickness

With the default value From lug, the thickness of a lug is the thickness value set in the W line (lug line) of the cutout type file (if the thickness is >1). See Thickness and material type.

When From plate is selected, the lug uses the thickness of the plate, profile or shell frame in which the cutout with the lug is.

Material type

With the default value From lug, the material type of a lug is the material set in the W line (lug line) of the cutout type file. If the material type is not defined in the type file, the lug uses the material type of the plate, profile or shell frame in which the cutout with the lug is. See Thickness and material type.

When From plate is selected, the lug uses the material type of the plate, profile or shell frame in which the cutout with the lug is.
