Mirror
Edit > Manipulate > Mirror
Keyboard shortcut: x
Mirror the selected items over an axis or over a point. If you start this function and there are no items selected, select the item(s) you want to mirror first.
You can mirror the selection in five different ways: over the X-axis, over the Y-axis, over a custom axis, over a point horizontally, and over a point vertically.
- Indicate first point: Press Enter to select the position of the current control as the starting point. This point can be used as the first point of a custom axis, and as the horizontal or vertical mirror point.
- Indicate second point: Press Enter to use the current mouse position as the second point. When you indicate this point, the selection is mirrored over the axis that is defined by the first point and by this point.
See also Indicating items and Indicating points in the Basic Working Procedures User's Guide.
