Balloon Settings

Extra > Hull Viewer > Balloon Settings

Define the content for a popup window ("balloon") that is displayed when information of a part is requested in Hull Viewer.

This setting consists of three parts:

  • Configuration name – Shown in the balloon info setting in Hull Viewer.
  • Balloon title – Defines the header information of the balloon.
  • Information line(s) consisting of Text and Field(s). See below for more information.

Information line(s)

An information line defines each line of the balloon (following the header). A line consists of a description text and one or more fields with part information. The description text and part information are separated by a colon in the balloon.

Part information fields – For the balloon title and information lines, the fields specified in the logistical layout can be used.

Other available fields are:

  • Field Separator – The field separator sign. This sign is defined by the Production > Plate Cutting Data > Settings > Field Separator setting:
  • ObjectNumber – The object number of the project.
  • ProjectName – The name of the project.
  • BlockGroup – The group that the block is assigned to.
  • BlockName – The name of the block.
  • BlockNumber – The number of the block.
  • Partcode – Defines that the construction part specific part code is used. This code is specified as Part code in the Logistics > Prefixes And Part Codes setting.
  • PlateRecNr – The plate record number of the part, or that of its parent plate-like part if the part has no plate record itself.
  • AttRecNr – The attribute record number of the part. The number is 0 if the part has no attribute record.
  • WBD Branch 1..9 – The Work Breakdown name for a specific level.

A field format can be defined for all fields. In addition to these fields it is also possible to add text or environment variables (between % signs).
