Face Plate Arbitrary Hole Margin
When face plates are placed in a arbitrary hole with the Insert > Face Plates > Face Plate In Hole function in the 2D-Contek and 3D-Contek applications, with the icon for two or four face plates, the starting and ending points are situated at the center of a straight line, or the center of a part of the contour which is related to a hull line.
If however the length of such a line (or part related to hull line) is smaller than the value of this setting, that line will not be used for a starting/ending point. Instead, the next straight line or part related to a hull line of which the length is larger will be used.
Create Flange With Extension
By default flanges on plates get an extension. Disable this setting to have flanges placed nominally.
This setting is applicable only if the Allow Flange Extensions setting below is enabled.
Allow Flange Extensions
Enable (default) or disable the possibility for flange extensions.
Creating Distance Start-End
Set the default distance from the start point to the end point when creating flanges.
Minimum Bending Clamp Distance
This value affects the position of the gaps between face plates in holes. It sets the default value for the Gap offset from arc and 2nd gap offset from arc when creating face plates in standard holes with the Construction > Face Plates > Insert > Face Plates in Holes function.
The value set in here will be prefilled for both of the gap offsets. By default this value is not set, which equals the value of 0.
See Creating face plates in holes for more information.
