For additional information, see Introduction to the knuckles settings.

Minimum Distance To Contour

Define the minimum distance from the contour perpendicular to the centre of the knuckle line. Only determined knuckle lengths larger than this value are added to a coded part as a dimension.

Maximum Length For Single Dim.

Define the maximum length of the knuckle line for placing one dimension at the centre of the knuckle line.

If the length of the knuckle line exceeds the set value, two dimensions are placed, one at each end of the knuckle line.

Max. Angle Dim.- Plate Contour

Define the maximum angle between the plate contour that the dimension points to and the knuckle line. If the actual angle exceeds this value, the dimension will not point to the plate contour.

Dist. Knuckle Line - Dimension

Specify the distance between a dimension and the knuckle line, measured from the end of the knuckle line along the knuckle line.

This setting is applicable only if two dimensions are placed. Refer to the Maximum Length For Single Dim. setting.

Max. Dist. To Parallel Contour

If knuckle lengths are determined, normally the shortest length found is used. If a larger distance to a parallel contour line is found, and the distance does not exceed the maximum defined here, this value is used.

Length Line (Contour Distance)

Define the length of the dimension line that is drawn if the knuckle length is added to a coded part.

Prefix For Contour Distance

Define the prefix that is used if the knuckle length is added to a coded part.

Postfix For Contour Distance

Define the postfix that is used if the knuckle length is added to a coded part.
