Angle Markings

An angle indicator symbol shows the angle in which another construction part touches the coded plate. The angle indicator is placed between grid lines near the center of the marking line. For situations where the angle changes because of curved constructions, it is possible to show additional angle indicators (end markings) at the extremities of the part touching the plate.

Angle Indicator Size

This value sets the length of the two lines that form the angle indicator symbol.

Note: If the value is zero, the angle indicator will not be present on the DXF file. You must set a positive value to have the angle indicator present.

Show Angle Indicator Types

Define which angle indicators are shown in the DXF file.

  • Optimal grid position (default) – Only show the center angle indicator.
  • End markings – Only show the angle indicators at the part ends.
  • Both center and end markings – Show both the center angle indicator and the angle indicators at part ends.
  • No markings – Do not show any angle indicators.

End Angle Indicator Offset

Set the distance between the end angle indicator and the part end. If the part end is outside of the plate, no angle indicator is shown for it. The default value is 100.

Angle Indicator Minimum Distance

Set the minimum distance between the center and end angle indicators. With this setting you can prevent the overlapping of the center and end angle markings when showing both indicator types is enabled (Both center and end markings). If the distance is less than the minimum, the center marking will not be shown. The default value is 500.

Min. Marking Length Constr. Items

Set the minimum length that a construction item must have to get angle indicator markings in the DXF file. The default value is 250 mm.

This setting applies to all construction item types except flanges.

Set the minimum length that a flange must have to get angle indicator markings in the DXF file. The default value is 250 mm.
