Preferred Location
Set the preferred location for the orientation symbol. If it cannot be positioned at the first location, the next location is used, and so on. There are nine possible locations, as shown in the image below.
You can set the smallest allowed size for the orientation symbol with the Maximum Size Reduction setting.
Maximum Size Reduction
The first value sets the maximum size reduction for the orientation symbol for placing it at the preferred location. The location preferences can be set using the Preferred Location setting. The value can range from 0 to 1.
The second value specifies the size reduction factor for a text when the needed reduction factor is smaller than the first value. If this value is 0, the text will be deleted. If the value is 1, the text is not scaled or not moved at all. Other values will cause the text to be placed at the position with the most free space in a text height multiplied by the specified value.
Orientation Axes Text
This setting controls the position of texts along the axes. Four parameters can be defined:
- The first parameter determines the relative position of a text along an axis.
- The second parameter sets the distance between a text and an axis.
- The third parameter specifies the X-axis position of the marked side text relative to the position of the orientation symbol.
- The fourth parameter specifies the Y-axis position of the marked side text relative to the position of the orientation symbol.
This setting only has effect if the Orientation Axes setting is enabled.
Min. Left Ori. Axis - Contour
Define the minimum distance (in mm) between the left side of the circumscribed rectangle around the orientation axis symbol and the plate contour.
Min. Bottom Ori. Axis - Contour
Define the minimum distance (in mm) between the bottom side of the circumscribed rectangle around the orientation axis symbol and the plate contour.
Min. Right Ori. Axis - Contour
Define the minimum distance (in mm) between the right side of the circumscribed rectangle around the orientation axis symbol and the plate contour.
Min. Top Ori. Axis - Contour
Defines the minimum distance (in mm) between the top side of the circumscribed rectangle around the orientation axis symbol and the plate contour.
