Settings

Production > Plate Cutting Data > Settings

Coding Script Location

Set the location for customer specific coding scripts. By default, a central script location is used, but it is also possible to define that the scripts stored with the project settings must be used.

Extra Output Formats

By default, the Production > Create Production Information and Production > Code One Plate functions only generate DXF ouput, and no other type of output formats, such as Eagle Model files and Cadmatic GDL files. Use this setting to enable the generation of the extra output formats, defined with the Extra > Hull Server > 3D-Models > Settings > Output Formats setting.

Logistical Update

By default, the Production > Create Production Information and Production > Code One Plate functions do not update logistical information, such as weight and dimensions. Use this setting to define if logistical information should be updated.

Update Log. Info Equal Parts

By default, when a part is coded, the logistical information of equal parts is updated. This can be disabled using this setting.

Lug Text Checking

Enable or disable text checking for lugs. In certain situations checking text with lugs can take some time. The coding process will complete faster with lug text checking disabled.

Auto Place Partnumber

Determine if a part number is placed on a plate automatically after coding.

Field Separator

Define the separator sign that can be used in between fields (logistical and fixed keywords).

  • This setting is applicable only for settings that allow the user to select the Field Separator field.

Continue On Edge Attribute Error

Select if the coding process is allowed to continue or if it is stopped in case the system encounters a bevel error, multiple overlapping bevels, or duplicated extra length while coding a regular plate or shell plate.

  • Enabled (default) – When the system encounters a bevel error, multiple overlapping bevels, or duplicated extra length, a warning is shown, but the coding process continues. The resulting DXF file will not contain information for the broken or overlapping bevels or the extra length that caused the warning.
  • Disabled – When the system encounters a bevel error, multiple overlapping bevels, or duplicated extra length, a warning is shown and the coding process is stopped.
