Hole request states

Hole request states are shown in 3D-Item Information in Hull and Hull Viewer, and in the Miscellaneous section of the Hole Request object data in Plant Modeller.

When a new hole request is added in Hole Manager, it will by default receive the following states in Hull: 

• Hole Type: Marked
• Acceptance Status: Pending
• Lock Status: Not locked

Hull user and Hull date will be empty.

All the states set by Outfitting and Hull as well as their values are presented in the following table.

Action	Create	A new hole request has been created in Plant Modeller.
	Modify	A hole request that was previously sent to Hull via Request Update has been modified in Plant Modeller.
	Delete	A request to delete a hole request that has already been sent to Hull has been done.
Design Status	Under Work	The hole request has been saved or checked in to COS in Plant Modeller, without requesting for an update. Hull will treat this as a pending hole, except that it cannot be changed in Hull. Therefore, it will not show up on coded parts. However, if this hole has been previously accepted, the hole in the model will remain until the containing part is recalculated or the model is recreated in Hull Viewer. In Hull, the corresponding value is Locked by Outfitting.
	For Production	Update has been requested. Hull will now pick up the hole request.

State	Values	Description
Acceptance Status	Accepted	A Hull user has accepted the hole, and the hole is present in production data and 3D models. A hole request that has been accepted in Hull cannot be deleted from the Outfitting side unless the deletion is accepted also on the Hull side. It is still handled as an accepted hole request if the Outfitting Delete hole request is rejected in Hull. The hole request remains in the production data and 3D models.
	Rejected	A Hull user has rejected the hole and provided a reason why the hole cannot be created according to the hole request. The hole has been removed from all Hull data.
	Pending	Processing has not been started.
Hole Type	Mark	The hole is only marked on the part, and needs to be cut in a different way.
	Cut	The hole will be cut by the cutting machine when creating the part.
	Indicate	The hole is shown as marked in the coded part (DXF) but not shown in 3D models (Hull Viewer). In Plant Modeller, the corresponding value is Not specified.
Lock Status	Locked	When locked, it is not possible to modify the hole request in Plant Modeller.
	Not Locked	When not locked, it is possible modify the hole request in Plant Modeller.

Important: After importing an HDX project to COS, all plates that contain hole requests must be recalculated to set the correct state. When entering a block for the first time, the Hull Server automatically starts doing this.
