Resetting the description of parts

The standard descriptions for parts can be changed and re-written to the logistical database with the settings in the Logistics > Description menu of the System Management application.

Part descriptions are always reset to the standard ones when running the Create Process Codes function with the Description option selected. Doing this is only useful after changes have been made to the standard descriptions.

Note: If the description for a bracket type has been defined in the bracket type macro, the description for that bracket type cannot be reset with the Create Process Codes function. The description is set in Label 9 of the type macro, with the Descript variable. To be able to reset the bracket description with the Create Process Codes function, the Descript variable must be removed from Label 9 of the type macro. See Description of the part.
