Create Process Codes
Production > Logistics > Process Codes
Create the process and job codes, article numbers, the position and/or the description of the selected parts, and adds them to the logistical database. It is also possible to rearrange the assembly order by either the creation date or by the relations of the parts.

Creating process codes
Do the following:

Select the parts to be processed.
From the Selection criterion list, select one of the available logistical selection menus, and enter the desired search/selection criteria. Depending on if it is made available by the Hull administrator, it may also be possible to select the currently selected parts in Hull Viewer by clicking on Hull Viewer from the Selection criterion list.

Select the logistical data to be created (Processingcode, Article number, Position, Job, Description).
Select one or more of the possible logistical database fields for which (new) values should be created. See also Defining the logistical database layout.

Article number is only available if this fields has been included in the logistical database layout. See also Article Numbers.

By Rules – With this option it is possible to modify the logistical information of the selected parts so that the values of logistical fields get their values according to rules. The affected logistical fields, and the rules by which their values should be determined, are defined in System Management > Production > Logistics > Use Rules.
This option is only available if at least one setting has been defined in the Use Rules settings.

Order by creation and Order by relation rearrange the assembly order (work breakdown tree) of the selected parts, based on either their creation time or mutual relations.

Start the creation process.
Click OK to start the creation process, or click Apply if you want to make keep the dialog open and create another selection of parts for logistical data creation.
