Installing CADMATIC Hull Server

Use the CADMATIC Marine Design Installation setup program to install CADMATIC Hull Server.

Prerequisites

• You are logged in as an administrator.

Do the following:

1. In the CADMATIC Marine Design Installation setup program, select Hull installation. The list of applications opens.

2. Select Hull Server, and start following the instructions of the installation wizard.

3. On the Select Components page, make sure that all components, including the training project, are selected to be installed.

   

4. On the Select Additional Tasks page, select to share the installation folder, unless you are installing on a workstation for the single use of a CADMATIC Hull client on the same workstation. If you clear this option, you will have to share the folder manually after the installation.

   

5. Follow the instructions of the wizard to complete the installation.

Results

CADMATIC Hull Server is installed. If you chose to let the installation wizard share the server folder, check from the folder properties that sharing succeeded. Otherwise, share the folder as described in Sharing the CADMATIC Hull Server Folder, unless you are installing on a workstation for the single use of a CADMATIC Hull client on the same workstation.

Next, you must install the License Server, as described in CADMATIC License Server Installation.
