Views and drawings

The following type of views can be created from the project's hull database and/or construction databases from the blocks in the project:

• Orthogonal views: frame views, side views and top views
• Slanted views: single slanted and double slanted
• Perpendicular views
• Shell views
• 2D shell expansions
• Isometric views.

Drawings are created by either saving the current view or using one of the functions which calculate views and immediately save the calculated view as a drawing.

The information about drawing names associated with parts which are no longer visible in the active drawing are not updated while saving a drawing. This process is done so that large projects can be handled more efficiently. Either using Tools > Recalculate Views or clicking Update within Hull > Find Part can be used to fully update this information. Otherwise, the user must exercise caution while using the Hull > Find Part... search since this information might not be completely up to date.
