Beam classes

In the Project Environment dialog, in [library or project] > Configuration > Plant Modeller, the Beam classes configuration object defines the beam classes that can be selected to a beam specification, as described in Beam specifications.

The first row of the definition is always:

.d2 401;.dT 1.0;;

The additional lines have the following format:

.d2 500;.s0 <beam class id>;.s1 <description>;.s2 <profile code>;;

where

• <beam class id> provides the beam class with a unique identification number.

• <description> is the text to show to the user in a beam class selection list.

• <profile code> defines which beam profile to use for the beam class. The beam profile codes are listed in Beam profile.
