Diagram tutorial
This tutorial provides step-by-step introductions to using the CADMATIC P&ID application. You are guided through designing a complete diagram and plotting it on paper, accompanied with component lists and other data. The diagram serves as a simple example, demonstrating what you can do with the program and how you can perform various common design activities with it. Before starting the tutorial, you can familiarize yourself with the User interface.

Note: This tutorial uses the CADMATIC example project that is delivered with the program. Because the program is highly customizable, some of the information in this tutorial might not apply to your actual working environment.
Prerequisites
Before you can perform this tutorial, ask the administrator to perform the following actions:

Install the Example Project.

Install the P&ID application using integration to Plant Modeller.

Create a P&ID Project Database before starting the P&ID application.

Approve the start-up scripts for the project to have sheets in the P&ID application.

Create a workspace for you in the example project.

Add the area for the P&ID application to your workspace.
