Save user's input/output package

Distribution Board tab > Symbols group >  Symbols menu > Save user's input package
Distribution Board tab > Symbols group >  Symbols menu > Save user's output package

With these functions, you can save your own input/output packages. The packages can include several individual symbols.

Note: To save an individual symbol, use the Create user symbol function.

You can select the saved input/output packages with the Select distribution board symbol function.

Do the following:

  1. Insert the symbols included in the package next to each other.

  2. Start the function.

  3. Select the elements to be saved in the package.

Tip: We recommend to build the package with pieces whose height is one row. This way, it is easy to copy and move the rows.

  4. Enter the symbol package name.

  5. Indicate the symbol package's insertion point.

  6. Enter the description line of the symbol package search (tip text).

  7. Use the window indication and show the icon to be drawn in the menu button.

The input and output packages can also include drawing frame rows (*_TABLE_ROW). When inserting a package via the fill function, the function checks if there any row symbols in the package. If there are and if the row symbol has corresponding attributes the fill function updates the values to them. The rows do not need to be the same, as long as the same attributes are found.

When inserting a package including rows normally (not via the fill functions), the rows are deleted after insertion.
