Layout tabs
You can define layouts for CAD drawings where you can display different sections of a drawing, such as in different angles or scales.
The program shows the model space and the layouts of the active drawing as layout tabs. Click a tab to set it as the active layout. The active layout's tab is lighter than the others, and its name is bolded.
Note: You can change the active layout only when there are no commands running.
-
You can create new layouts by clicking the + tab.
-
You can rename or copy layouts by right-clicking their tabs.
-
You can rearrange layout tabs by clicking and dragging them. Note that you cannot change the position of the Model tab and the + tab.
Change the location of the layout tabs
Do the following:
-
Select File > Settings > User interface tab.
-
From the Layout tabs drop-down menu, select the location of the tabs. You can also hide them.
The program changes the location of the tabs.
You can also change the location of the tabs in the same settings.
