Import User Interface

Tools > User Interface > Import User Interface

Import user interface settings created with the Settings > User Interface Settings > Export User Interface function.

The user interface settings are stored in compressed .tgz files.

Importing a user interface

  1. When you start this function you are prompted to browse for a .tgz file. Browse for the file, and click Open.
  2. Select the settings that you want to import. Those settings that are not included in the file appear unavailable.
  3. Click OK.

Created by – The user name of the creator and workstation on which this settings file was created.

Date/time created – The creating date and time.

User Interface settings – Import all the settings available in the User Interface > User Interface Settings function.

Applications toolbar positions – Import all the application's toolbar positions.

Saved toolbar positions – Four toolbar positions can be saved in each application. By selecting this option you import all the saved toolbar positions.

User toolbars – Three user defined toolbars can be defined in each application. By selecting this option you import all the user defined toolbars.

Function key settings – Import all the function key settings.

Command key settings – Import all the command key settings.
