When composite profiles, pillars and shell frames are coded, the resulting DXF file can have a user defined prefix and/or postfix. Separate settings are available for the body and the flanges.
Define the prefixes and postfixes for plate cutting data DXF file names.
- A prefix is a text string added to the beginning of the file name.
- A postfix is a text string added to the end of the file name.
The following prefixes and postfixes can be defined:
Profile Prefix
Prefix for a coded profile.
Profile Postfix
Postfix for a coded profile.
Body Prefix
Prefix for a coded profile's body. There is no prefix set by default.
Body Postfix
Postfix for a coded profile's body. The default body postfix is _B.
Main Flange Prefix
Prefix for a coded profile's main flange. There is no main flange prefix set by default.
Main Flange Postfix
Postfix for a coded profile's main flange. The default main flange postfix is _F1.
Second Flange Prefix
Prefix for a coded profile's second flange. There is no second flange prefix set by default.
Second Flange Postfix
Postfix for a coded profile's second flange. The default second flange postfix is _F2.
For each profile type the Body and Main Flange prefix and postfix are applicable. If a profile type has two flanges, the Second Flange setting is applicable also.
See Composite profiles and Coding composite profiles for more information about composite profiles.
The general file name structure for plate cutting data DXF files is defined with the Production > Plate Cutting Data > DXF Output > Settings > Filename setting. See Settings for DXF output of plate cutting data for more information.
