Active

On the Weld tab, the Active group allows you to select the logistic 3D space, the weld group, and the System of the welds you want to manage.

Logistic 3D space

Use one of the following methods to select the logistic 3D space where you want to manage welds.

• Select the logistic 3D space from a containment browser that shows a hierarchical tree of all logistic 3D spaces.

• Select the logistic 3D space by picking a model object that belongs to the required logistic 3D space.

Selecting a logistic 3D space populates the other selection fields with applicable items.

Weld group

Use one of the following methods to select the weld group that you want to manage.

• Open the drop-down list to select the weld group from those that exist in the selected logistic 3D space.

  Note: The drop-down list has a special menu item Last Weld Check Results that displays the last weld check results in the weld list. See List.

• Select the weld group from a containment browser that shows a hierarchical tree of all logistic 3D spaces.

• Select the weld group by picking a weld that belongs to the required weld group.

If there is no suitable weld group in the currently selected logistic 3D space, click the button to create one. See Group.

After selecting a weld group, you can manage the welds that already exist in that group and use the Insert commands to add new welds to it.

Weld system

The Weld system field shows the System that is currently used by welds; if you create new welds, the new welds use the selected System. The drop-down lists every System that has the Allow Welds setting enabled in the Systems configuration of the project.
