Open the drawing

You can open the document you created in Create a new drawing, as described below.

Do the following:

1. In the Manage Drawings dialog, in the All Drawings view, do one of the following to open the document for editing:

   • Double-click the document.

   • Right-click the document and select Edit.

   Both methods check out the document from COS and move it to the My Drawings folder where it stays until you check it in or cancel the check-out. At the same time, the document editor opens on top of Plant Modeller and displays the document as an empty page that contains the elements defined in the drawing sheet.

   Note: The background color of the document editor is black, and the only way that a user can change the background color is to adjust the RGB or HSV values of black color in the Personal Colors palette in the Plant Modeller user options, as described in Colors.

2. You can now browse the initial page of the document, as described in Edit or browse page.
