Move 3D-items
Home > Move
Move 3D-Items.
Select the 3D-Items to be moved and click either Shift, Mirror or Rotate.
Note: In certain cases other functions may be more suitable for moving parts, as follows.
Moving/rotating holes – Rotating using the Move 3D-Items function is always performed around the same indicated point for all holes in the selection. To rotate several holes each around their own center, use Holes > Modify > Turn/Shift.
Shifting profiles – To shift a profile away from the plate, use Profiles > Modify > Shift. Moving profiles with the Move 3D-Items function always results in a profile that is on the plate.
Rotating shell frames – To change the angle(s) of shell frames, use Shell Frames > Modify > Angles.
Shifting shell frames – To move shell frames in their body direction, away from the shell/hull line, use Shell Frames > Modify > Offset.
Rotating/mirroring pillars – To rotate / mirror pillars around their midpoint or basepoint, and changing the plane of the pillar, use Pillars > Modify > Rotate.
