When you start this function, the Select dialog appears.

  1. Select one or two plates. Only shell plates can be selected.
  2. Click OK to open the Bevels dialog, where you can select predefined bevels. Each predefined bevel has its own unique properties. To deviate from the predefined properties, you modify the properties in the tabs of the dialog.

Bevel 1 / Bevel 2 – Activates/deactivates the bevels for each of the two shell plates separately.

  • First field – Displays the bevel text as it will appear in the active view.
  • Second field – Manually influences the standard bevel code. Applicable only when the logistical field Name is used.

Model – Sets the model to be displayed for the bevels. This is optional.

Show/hide preview – Shows a preview of the bevel's appearance with the currently set parameter values. The image in the preview is updated when a parameter is changed.

Save preview – Saves the preview to a drawing.

See Bevel properties for predefined bevels for more information.
